Information Overload Effects

Information overload effects are being noted today with the increasing interaction of our lives online. With Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more, these effects are having a profound effect on how we deal with our lives.

If you are an internet marketer, or want to start a business online, you will have inevitably succumbed to information overload effects.

Information Overload Effects – 3 Reasons

When I started a business online, I struggled. A lot! And it was so discouraging. The prime culprit for my failures (perceived and otherwise) was the fact that I was suffering from information overload effects.

Do you know how I ended the pain?

Simple — I stopped. I JUST STOPPED!

Seriously, if you want to stop all this nonsense and struggles you are having online, you will have to cut the crap and stop the information overload effects from affecting your business. Do you have any thoughts at this point? There is a great deal within the body of knowledge surrounding information overload effects. Yes, it is correct that so many find this and other related subjects to be of great value. You should take care about making too many presumptions until the big picture is more clear. Try evaluating your own unique requirements which will help you further refine what may be necessary. The rest of our talk will add more to what we have mentioned so far.

Information Overload Effects – It’s Your Ego, Silly

“It’s your ego, silly!” – This is what I have to say to those that join me in my business ventures. All of us, and I am very guilty of this too, have large EGOS.

We think that we cannot fail, we shouldn’t fail and that we mustn’t let our friends on Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn hear of our failures.

And that’s just plain silly.

Here are the 3 reasons why you, due to information overload effects, are failing in your online business:

  • Bonuses
  • Upsells
  • Emails

Information Overload Effects – Get Clarity

Once again, the abundance of “internet marketing tips” and “internet maketeting systems” etc. are just too much. You are suffering from information overload effects and it is seriously hurting your online business.

  • Bonuses – Personally, I have been suckered into buying the “latest” and “greatest” Facebook marketing tactic because of the “bonuses” that were offered. I remember a few months ago, there was this great launch going on and all these internet marketing big wigs would come out and say, “Join via this link because I am giving you $xyz dollars of bonuses that you won’t get anywhere else…” Really?

The problems with bonuses is that they are part of the information overload effects because if they are UNrelated to the original product, you WILL LOSE FOCUS! Don’t be a statistic. Don’t be one of the 97% of online marketers that fail.

  • Upsells – These are killer and they will seriously hinder you because of the severity of their information overload effects. Most of the time, these upsells are NOT RELATED to the original product. Don’t buy it. Don’t be enticed by the sales video. Don’t be enticed by the fast-solution-to-your-problem pitch

It’s not worth it at all. If the upsell was RELATED to the original product and provided VALUE to it, then by all means go ahead and buy it. Do your research first and then make an INFORMED decision and cut the effects of information overload effects.

  • Emails – Let me ask you a question. Just how many email lists are you subscribed to? (Hopefully it’s mine ;) ) Really?! Do you need all that info? Isn’t it just taking up your gmail quota? Sure you’ve got like 7+ gigs but you don’t need that junk.

The best way to cut the information overload effects of email is to simply unsubscribe. Just do it!

The above is only a modest slice from the total as it concerns information overload effects. There are other areas that can be discovered that will enhance the information that is generally accessible. There is just an excessive amount to cover in this short informational essay, and we transition into more deeper treatment in a minute. One thing to bear in mind is you have to view it against your unique needs, and that is why we offer it.

To Your Success,
